Dhahran, Saudi Arabia – When Ithra launched its Net Zero exhibition to explore the future of sustainable design, it turned to 3DVinci Creations to fabricate the 140 uniquely sculpted 3D printed concrete walls that would form the installation’s immersive environment.

The project, designed by ACCIONA Cultura, recently received the 2024 iF Design Award, recognizing its visionary blend of architecture, culture, and sustainability. Central to the experience: the custom-printed walls manufactured and delivered by 3DVinci Creations, each with distinct geometry and zero formwork.
“3D printing allowed us to meet both the aesthetic complexity and the sustainability goals—under intense time pressure,” said Edouard Baaklini, CEO of 3DVinci Creations.
The walls were printed off-site, then transported and installed in the gallery space at King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran. The result? A sculptural, low-impact exhibition space that reflects both Saudi Arabia’s cultural ambition and 3DVinci Creations technical mastery.
With this landmark project, 3DVinci Creations reinforces the role of 3D concrete printing in future-forward architecture—even in the most time-sensitive and design-intensive environments.
